Carrie & Witek gained possession of the building on January 10th, 2024
We plan to extensively renovate the main floor, add a large garage bay door for our cryonics emergency vehicle. Also we wanted to add a film production studio on the main floor. There is a beam in the middle of the space that would restrict the filming set space. To remove that beam, we require structural changes to the supporting beams. There are multiple supporting beams on the main floor and we would need to reinforce the other beams in order to remove one. We engaged a structural engineer to help us with our design. Another consideration was to ensure the floor can handle the load of an emergency vehicle so we would need to reinforce the basement level. Permits were submitted in late June for these structural changes.
